… is it common practice to sit on the floor during homilies in an Orthodox church? I know there are usually no seats/pews I just thought people stood through the homily too. To clarify I’ve only seen people sit on the floor in OCA parishes. At the DC Orthodox cathedral they stand through the homily so I thought that was more common. Just curious. Read more
