Hypocrisy 101- The EVIL Internet

We have lived in our new City for just over six months, and I am still trying to find the perfect radio station. I am looking for that amazing mix between 80’s. 90’s and today. One thing I have found over time is that the “seek” button seems to find different stations every time I hit it, which is both frustrating and cool. Recently, I came upon a “Christian Station” – normally I would just hit the seek-button again, but they were talking about something of interest – “The Evil Internet.” So, I listened.

The host, and the guests, were trashing on how the Internet, and Social Media in general, were evil, and how they destroy the family, and remove you from a lasting relationship with Christ. This went on for a long time, it was only interrupted by the Station, and the particular ministry, telling people “If you like what you hear, visit our website and like us on Facebook.”

WHAT?

How can you spend 15-20 minutes trashing the Internet, and Social Media, as evil, only to tell people to follow you on Social Media, and visit your website? This is what I would call, “Hypocrisy 101.”
