It’s Not Inspired

It’s Not Inspired

TNJ-NEW-3.fwOver the past year I have been hearing that the Constitution was inspired by God – that, somehow, it holds and equal [or slightly less] status to Scripture. I’m not buying into that theological stance. The idea that the Constitution is inspired by God seems, well – both dangerous and silly. Sure, everyone can write under the inspiration of God, but that does not make what we write inspired. Keep in mind, having a theological view that the Constitution was inspired by God we have to ask one very important question; why is it amended?
