John Manning, DMin. has a wide range of experiences, education, and credentials that have allowed him to collect a unique perspective on the Spirit-filled life. Dr. Manning was raised in a traditional Pentecostal home, the son of pastors and missionaries to Latin America. After graduation from high school, Dr. Manning completed his undergraduate degree at East Carolina University with a concentration in Spanish and Communications. Dr. Manning attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Divinity in Christian Counseling. In 2023, he completed his Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership at Southeastern University. Dr. Manning has over 20 years in public education as both a teacher and school counselor. He also has several years as an addiction counselor and is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. Dr. Manning has served as a pastor, a church planter, and a youth minister. Presently, Dr. Manning does short-term missions, church consultations, and hosts seminars on the Spirit-filled life. He currently resides in Wilmington, NC with his wife and two children.
