Another song for the 52 Makeup Challenge this week.
(Posted a few days late, but so it goes.)
The genesis for this one was sitting on a friend’s porch enjoying the fine spring weather; when I sat down with the guitar a few hours later, that feeling of renew came back to me, and I started with a line talking about what I’d done earlier that day: “Walking the dog in the spring sunshine”. That got changed along the way to “Walking along…” to be a little more general and universal, as the song shaped up to be about renewal after an unhealthy relationship. (By the way, this song is not based on any one specific experience of failed romance, or directed at any one ex-paramour.)
You can keep up with “The Zen Pagan” by subscribing via RSS or e-mail.
You can help send me to Japan this spring for a once in a lifetime event!
Details TBD, but I will be at the Free Spirit Gathering and the Starwood Festival this summer.
If you do Facebook, you might choose to join a group on “Zen Paganism” I’ve set up there. And don’t forget to “like” Patheos Pagan and/or The Zen Pagan over there, too.
