You know it’s been a long day when you are trying to tune out the sound of your two youngest kids fighting with music and wine. Not only that, but I just realized what the next 3 months of my life are going to be like. I might just hand them a tent and some protein bars and have them camp out at the school until August. Don’t judge me.

I am so tired. I have no idea what is going on with me, but I am just exhausted. It’s got to be a combination of my husband working all night long to catch up on his work, so I can’t sleep; me helping him catch up during the week, my new part-time job, the end of the school year and ovulating. It all hit me at once and I would like to take a year long nap.

It’s been so long that I’ve been a part of 7 Quick Takes that I had to look up what the last number was. Ummm, I was sure I did it more than SIX times. WTH? Guess that makes me a blogging slacker.

My new job is awesome. I work at a crisis pregnancy center in town that has a full OBGYN office in it. It’s awesome. The only thing that is wrong with it is that it’s emotionally draining. I love telling my story, but after a while it gets heavy. I need to go to confession. I have a feeling that this job will mean I need to go to weekly confession. The Grace of God through the Sacraments are my life line. Please pray for me.

My first grand-baby is due any day now. And Stacey’s oldest son will be graduating from High School. That means we will have 2 out of 7 kids out of the house (well, kind of) and a baby to play with. So, we should be expecting a positive pregnancy test any day now.

I read the funniest blog post about end of the year moms. I was in tears reading it. This pretty much sums up why I am so dang tired today. I have done all of these things. The PTA moms don’t even email me anymore since the last time they did the only response they got from me was “Can ya’ll please quit replying to all?! Ya’ll are killing my battery and I’m engaged in an online debate with a pro-choicer and I have him cornered!”.

I have started working on my book about my conversion. I have a few people willing to help me and by “started working” I mean I’ve read all of Jennifer Fulwiler’s posts on her book writing. It’s called research people. Again, don’t judge me! Congrats on getting published Jennifer! I can’t wait to read the book.
