7 Quick Takes Friday

Well here is my first 7 quick take Friday. I have no idea what I’m doing so if this is the stupidest post ever then I’ve done better than I thought.

I was reminded yesterday that in just 22 more days summer will be over and we will back to trying to figure out how to get 4 kids to actually learn something in school and not be a drop out statistic. Then we have to figure out RE classes for all 7 kids and with that number of kids brings on the panic of realizing that we will have to be in weekly contact with Stacey’s ex-wife….. WHY??! Why does summer have to end?

I’m still trying to get over having to talk to Stacey’s ex-wife on a regular basis, I’m taking this time to lay my head on the desk and cry.

We are going to see Cowboys and Aliens at Alamo Drafthouse for my oldest sons 17th birthday tonight. Yeah I know that movie seems like it’s gonna be stupid, but hey it has COWBOYS and ALIENS!! I’m from Texas, I’m almost sure this movie is going to take the place of “Ol Yeller” on the Texas “must see” list of all time movies.

Did I mention that I have no idea what I’m doing on this post? Yeah. Ok. Well did I mention I’ve only had 1 cup of coffee?

So Atheists are really acting up this week. On Jennifer Fulwiler’s blog and in NY suing over a cross at the 9/11 site. My whole thing is if they don’t believe in God then why are they so threatened by people who do? What is that all about?

Finally I’m done. I hope that I didn’t come off as a complete crazy person. If I did, give me another chance and try me back next week. :) Or you can look at some of my other posts, those are usually done prayfully and with more coffee.
