What an interesting night last night. Doug called on the way to the DFL caucus to say that the line of cars stretched from the middle school a half-mile to the highway and onto the highway for a quarter mile. I’ve got a bit of Tennessee in my blood this month. Last week I visited Belmont University in Nashville where I was warmly hosted by the University Ministries staff (thanks Guy, Kristy, and Micah!). I am a political independent. And fiercely so. I’ve voted for a couple Republicans and a couple Democrats and lots of Independents, including, proudly, Jesse “The Body” Ventura.
