Pope John Paul II many times pointed out his desire for Christian unity, and through it, for Westerners to learn from the East: “The words of the West need the words of the East, so that God’s word may ever more clearly reveal its unfathomable riches,” John Paul II, Orientale Lumen 28. This video, made by by St Elias Ukrainian Catholic Church, Brampton ON, Canda, serves as a good introduction to the Eastern way of life. I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning about the Catholic East but has not yet had the time do visit an Eastern Catholic Church.
