What Does Qešer Mean for Tylenol & the United Nations?

This week, there was a lot of news in controversy about the Trump administration and its divisive conspiracy theory about Tylenol during pregnancy causing autism. This administration and its controversial leadership choices have been pushing back against accepted science and medical conclusions for years, even before rising to power.

Initially, their claim was vaccines, especially during childhood, are the cause of autism, despite numerous studies over the past three decades that concluded there is no link between vaccines and autism. Both the medical community and the autism community have disputed their unscientific and harmful conspiracy theories.

President Trump and RFK Jr’s refuse to listen to the science and medical community because they are wise in their own eyes (Proverbs 3:7, Isaiah 5:21 Romans 1: 22):

  • Deceptive
  • Prideful
  • Arrogant
  • Hateful

The medical community has known and shared the cause of autism for over 50 years. Anyone with an autistic family member or who knows someone who is autistic knows the truth about what causes autism. We trust the medical community and aren’t looking for any more answers.

Not only do I have family members who are autistic, but I also have close friends who have lived with their autistic children for over 20 years. I have also devoted myself to volunteering and helping others in the disabled community. No one is going to deceive us with these unscientific claims by uneducated people who only divide us.

Sadly, many of God’s people don’t want the truth; they want feel-good lies to make them happy, and they don’t care if what they believe is true or not. They have turned from truth to crazy conspiracy theories (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

What Is Conspiracy Theory

Conspiracy theories are nothing new; they have been around as long as there has been sin and deception in the world (Genesis 3:1-24, 2 Kings 15:30). Conspiracy theory is defined as, “An event or set of circumstances as a result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators. A theory asserting that a secret of great importance is being kept from the public.”

People like conspiracy theories because they give them a sense of power and knowledge, even though it is a form of deception (Genesis 3:4-19). Conspiracy theories divide and lead people astray, just like Satan led the first Adam astray in the garden.

It is rooted in a false knowledge that challenges truth in God’s divine nature (Psalm 51:6). That is why the Bible strongly condemns them and the people who spread them (Proverbs 26:27, Acts 18:12 Romans 16:17, Ephesians 5:11, 1 Timothy 6:20).

God’s people have always had a deal with divisive conspiracy theories (Ephesians 4:14; 5:11, 1 Timothy 2:16-17, Titus 3:9, 1 John 4:1). The apostles remembered their Jewish education about conspiracies as they fought against the Gnostics in the early church.

Qešer

The Torah tells us how Satan twisted God’s Word and promised the first Adam more knowledge if he ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 3:3-5). The first Adam’s thirst for knowledge and power led to sin and death entering the world.

So God set His people apart from the world and promised to bless them with everything they needed if they obeyed Him and didn’t listen to or follow the ways of the world (Deuteronomy 7:6). That included the conspiracies of this fallen world to gain more knowledge and power or earthly greatness!

The Hebrew word in the Old Testament conspiracy is qešer, and it can also mean “Treason, unlawful alliance, or Confederacy,” depending on the context it is used in. Unfortunately, Israel rejected God as their King constantly and turned to corrupt earthly kings to lead and make them great like this fallen world (Deuteronomy 17:14-20, Judges 8:22-23).

Israel repeatedly turned to evil kings who often led them away from God, and Israel had to deal with conspiracy theories (1 Kings 16:30-33; 21:25, 2 Kings 15:23-24, 2 Chronicles 25:27, Nehemiah 4:7-9, Psalm 83:2-3, Proverbs 21:28-31).

God called His people to be a holy nation devoted to His ways, our Jewish forefathers even let selfishness and conspiracies divide them:

  1. Israel
  2. Judah
  3. Heaven
  4. Earth

One of the key prophecies about the Jewish Messiah is the lion of Judah would reunite God’s people into one holy nation and bring God’s people back to the homeland to live in unity in peace (Isaiah 11:10-12, Ezekiel 37:21-22, John 10:16).

Jesus called for His followers to be united as one, just as He was with the Father (John 17:20-23). He taught His followers to seek God’s will and not to listen to their own hearts (Matthew 6:9-13; 16:24).

Our Lord faced conspiracies against Himself also (Matthew 7:1-2; 12:14; 27:1, Mark 3:6). Our King knows how Satan divides God’s people, just like he did the angels in heaven (Luke 10:18).

United Nations

There was a lot of big news this week around the United Nations and its Gen. Assembly in New York. President Trump had a tough week at the UN assembly himself. First, he encountered technical issues with an escalator and a Teleprompter at the UN headquarters, and later attributed them to a conspiracy theory about the UN trying to sabotage him.

Then he had an ego trip and went on an unhinged rant, chastising the representatives of countries from around the world and looking down on the problems they are facing. The irony of it all is President Trump campaigned on bringing peace to the world in unity to America, because the Democrats had divided us as a nation.

Not only has the president not united the country or the world, but he continues to divide us with his evil lies in delusional conspiracy theories:

The Clintons killed Jeffrey Epstein

President Trump has severed the conservative party beyond repair with his conspiracy theories. The Bible warns us about these false Angels of light in the last days to sneak in (Matthew 7:15, 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, 1 Timothy 4:1).

There are many false teachers and prophets parading as pastors, Bible teachers, and theologians, leading God’s people astray today with teachings that contradict the basic teachings of Jesus. I believe America and the world will never be the same again because God’s people are hell-bent on earthly greatness and a temporary kingdom.

The United Nations also had to deal with Benjamin Netanyahu’s revenge-motivated speech about his hunt to find and eliminate Hamas in Gaza City. Shockingly, many diplomats stood up and walked out in protest to Netanyahu because of his qešer!
