I’ve had a full week with with my 53rd birthday and a local-Zen-people meeting. In the process, I’ve neglected this blog a bit but I’m warming up my blog mind now for another Genjokoan post.
It seems that I’ve passed over the depth of this passage in previous work with this Genjo-bugger so it is fun to meet it again. It’s just like
Dongshan’s “No Heat, No Cold.” Anyway, I’ll get to that probably tomorrow because now I’ve got something I want to put out there in cyberspace, kind of a note in a bottle. Then I’m going out to bike and have dinner. The announcement has to do with my leaving Clouds in Water Zen Center five years ago. At the above mentioned meeting (Reb Anderson was there too), a number of rumors came to the surface but for now just this one: I was told that some former students would like to meet with me for closure but they’ve heard that I only meet with people who commit to be my students. So let me be clear:
If you are a former student and would like to meet with me, just use the email on the sidebar and let me know. I’m up for meeting with you to listen to what you have to say.
That’s it.
