I love me some hyperbole. Seriously. It’s like the greatest thing ever in the history of mankind. But, there is no hyperbole intended when I say A Faith Not Worth Fighting For edited by Tripp York and Justin Bronson Barringer is one of the most personally challenging books I have ever read. The book is a collection of essays on Christian pacifism written by such notable Christian thinkers as Stanley Hauerwas, Thomas Long, Greg Boyd, and Shane Claiborne. While... Read more

All this time I thought rest areas were just for using the bathroom and stretching your legs. Little did I know the urinal could also double as an evangelistic pit stop. Urinal + Chick Tract = Urinal-vangelism. Now that’s convenience! Read more

I’m  sure pretty Mark Driscoll and Steven Anderson are twins separated at birth. In this Driscoll-esque sermon “Pastor” Anderson explains “Biblically” how not singing (and preaching) loudly is “effeminate” and therefore sinful. A couple of months ago I tried my hand at doing a video post. Here’s the second of what will hopefully be many more videos in the months to come. I grew up in the Church of the Nazarene. From birth, all I heard about was holiness and living the holy life. Which was a good thing. Being holy as God is holy is one of the most fundamental calls of the faith. Unfortunately, for many of us, holiness is... Read more

So, if the people behind Jesus Camp are looking to make a sequel, I think we may have found their source material. Introducing Signs & Wonders Camp. It’s brought to you by the people at the other IHOP. You know, the International House of Prayer. Like any other church camp, this camp is full of frivolity, fun, games, and worship, but unlike most other children’s camps this one has an additional, shall we say “non-traditional”, element. Campers will... Read more

I’ll be honest. When I was a little kid I had like all of the He-Man action figures. Action figures, not dolls!! Little did I know I might as well have been playing with a Ouija board. Read more

Somebody needs to send an alert to Creation Museum founder Ken Ham ASAP and let him know what those godless Brits are up to! Not only have they put Charles Darwin on their currency…. They even had the gaul to bury the father of satanic science in one of their holiest churches, Westminster Abbey! It’s almost like they’re trying to claim that a person can be a Christian AND accept evolution as a valid scientific theory. Oh the... Read more
