Baruch dayan ha'emet (Hebrew), pronounced bah-ROOCH dai-yaan haa-EMET. Literally translated to "blessed be the Judge of Truth." This is the Jewish way of saying we accept the unacceptable. You may hear this when someone mentions the name of a person who has recently died.
