Cape Women Online Magazine Cancer Column: Katheen O’Keefe-Kanavos

The Fall in all it’s brilliance of colors is upon us. Days and evenings are getting shorter and cooler, a sure sign that the Holidays are just around the corner. The Holidays are a part of life. Unfortunately,  so is illlness and crisis. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My Cancer Q&A  column is written to help anyone in treatment, or the ones they love, get through both as smoothly as possible.

Wisdom offered from the trenches of life is worth its weight in gold.  It is reassurence to everyone that noone is ever alone during a time of need.  As a two-time breast cancer survivor who actually had cancer three times that was missed by the medical community and the scientific test on which they relied, I can say with authority, “Ask Me Anything! I’m glad you are here, because if you’re here, you’re family. Big Hug!”  These are their questions written in their own words…. http://www.capewomenonline.com/2012_Issues/Fall_2012/Fall2012_Articles/Cancer_QA_Fall2012.html
