A Little Help, Please!

Dear friends,

Here I am once again, asking for your parenting wisdom. I have been asked to give the “Christian Parenting” talk for a Baptism Prep class at our parish, as the woman who usually gives the talk will be out of town this weekend. Yes, that’s right, I have exactly 5 days to prepare the talk 🙂 In my college days, this would have been a world of time in which to prepare a presentation, but in my mommy-brain-I-drink-plenty-of-coffee-and-am-still-foggy days, I am a bit nervous about putting together a coherent and meaningful talk for these couples. The talk is supposed to be 30 minutes, and I would love your input!

If you would be so kind as to leave just one “Christian Parenting” point in the comments section, I would be much obliged 🙂 Think about it this way: If you could say just one thing to parents in a Baptism Preparation class, what would you make sure to say? I see this as a great opportunity to minister to these couples, and am grateful in advance for your feedback! I’ll be sure to compile all of your comments into a future post, and I will certainly let you know how the talk is received by these parents.
