The Boom Continues

Our Building Cathedrals family is proud to announce the arrival of the fourth Builder baby this year…

To Bethany and family…

Baby Genevieve arrived last Friday, May 8 at 8:10pm

7lbs. 14oz and 20 inches

I’m happy to report that natural labor was fantastic even though I never stepped foot in the water!  The Super Moon made sure she was out before we had the chance to consider it… :)  Thanks be to God for His tremendous blessing of children.  Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers as we adjust to life as a family of 7.

Congrats to all of you! You are a beautiful family – I love the look on J’s face, and how alike all of your boys look these days! Many blessings as you navigate these first weeks :)

  • Kathy

Congratulations! Glad that everything went so smoothly. Your family looks great. Beautiful name Genevieve. Prayers will be with you as you begin life as a family of 7. Get some sleep.

    Love all the t-shirts! :-)

  • Texas Mommy

Love the smiles and growls! Congratulations B-Mama and family!

Bethany, I’ve been meaning to ask whether you even considered getting into the shower or bath at the hospital. I have always thought in advance that it would be so soothing, but by the time I arrive at the hospital the contractions are so intense that I’m not taking the initiative to do anything but bounce on the exercise ball or lie in the bed!

  • Kellie “Red”

    Love to you all!

  • Kathy

    Congratulations! What a beautiful family!

  • Juris Mater

Beautiful!! And I love the burst of pink and pacifier in the back right corner who now has a baby sister to join her.

PS–you look amazing, Bethany–a few hours after birth?!? Wow!

  • Elena

Deo gratias! Congratulations, B-mama and family! And, a belated congratulations to Texas Mommy’s family, too! My prayers are with you all.

  • JMB

    She’s beautiful! Congratulations!

  • Donna

Congratulations! What a beautiful family you have! I’m surprised she was so big because you were so small- you were really “all baby”. Hoping for a smooth, grace-filled transition to seven! How blessed you are!
