Elsewhere: Against Positive and Encouraging Music

Every Christian radio station I’ve ever listened to always emphasized that their music was “Positive and Encouraging”.  But is this actually good, or accurate?  Worship songwriter Audrey Assad seems to disagree, as revealed in her CT’s profile of her.  Her music has tended to reflect the highs and lows of her faith, despite the bias in CCM towards just positivity.
