Coronado High School Thunderbird team manager Mitchell has loved basketball his whole life and has been an integral part of the team throughout high school. His coach surprised him by telling him to suit up on Senior Night, the last game of the season. Little did he know, Coach Morales would put him in for the last few minutes of the game. Mitchell had a bunch of chances, but it didn’t seem like the fairytale ending was going to happen as he kept missing the basket on his many chances. Watch this video to see the outcome and a great story of what sportsmanship is all about. Love the coach and all the high schoolers representing something greater than even the sport itself.
