Thank You!

Response to the new online Interpreter: A Journal of Mormon Scripture has been, to say the least of it, encouraging.

Among other things, donations have flowed in — some relatively large, many fairly small, all of them much appreciated.  We’ve been astonished and surprised, and gratified.  (We hadn’t even thought about fundraising yet.)  We’re still far from being solidly funded for the long haul, but we’re in much better shape than I, at least, had anticipated for this very early stage.  And we’re deeply grateful.

We started this thing with absolutely nothing in the bank.  We’re doing it in a way that, we hope, will keep expenses to a minimum.  Online publication will essentially eliminate printing, distribution, and inventory costs, for example.  But we will, unavoidably, incur some expenses, and we welcome help.

We’ll eventually be sending out individual thank-you notes to all those who have contributed.  That’s a promise.  In the meantime, I wanted to express my own gratitude to as many as I can reach.

I am, to put it mildly, very excited about the potential for this new effort.  I cannot express how much I appreciate all of those who have contributed to it thus far.

    Where should donations be sent?

There is, I believe, a link marked “Donations” along a bar at the top of the “Interpreter” website.
