One atheist reader of my blog likes to portray me as somebody who hates and fears science, and who uses it only to elicit “wows.”
He’s profoundly wrong on the first accusation, of course, but, with his second, he comes several light years closer to the truth than he commonly does:
I do think that much about the universe and the natural world is perfectly astounding.
