CNN: “Mormon and gay: Church says you can be both”

Of course you can be both.

That hasn’t changed.  It’s scarcely a new teaching.

Nor has the Church modified its moral teaching.

But there’s no question that we (like all other humans) can always try to be more loving, more welcoming, and more effectively pastoral — toward those who experience same-sex attraction as toward all others.  I welcome the new website and the new statements from Church leadership.  Including this one:
