Seasonal messages from the Interpreter Foundation December 3, 2016

A bit more than two years ago, we at the Interpreter Foundation decided to publish special Christmas and Easter messages on the Fridays nearest to those two holidays.  Unlike our usual offerings, they would be personal statements rather than scholarly treatises, appropriate (we hoped) for reading on or near those important commemorations.

 

It occurs to me that some of you may not have seen all of them, and that some who’ve already read them might enjoy reading them again.

 

Orson Scott Card wrote “Christmas is About a Baby” for the 2014 holiday season:

Clayton Christensen wrote “He Did It: A Christmas Message” for us in 2015:

 

The two Easter messages that we’ve published thus far are also, in my judgment, ideal for reflection at Christmas time.

 

Mitt Romney did the first of these (“Three Streams of Gratitude for Jesus”), for Easter 2015:

 

Joseph Grenny provided our Easter 2016 message, titled “Why Did You Choose Me?”:

 

Our 2016 Christmas message will appear on Friday, 23 December.
