Those are beautiful pictures. At the Abbey of Our Lady of Gethsemani they processed from the altar through the Abbey outside and into the Skakel Chapel where the Sacrament is still sitting for a Forty Hours devotion. This and Sacred and Heart and all the Solemnities of the Blessed Virgin Mary, are my favorites.
Stephen…
I love the Skakel Chapel — which has one of the most unusual and realistic depictions of Mary I’ve ever seen.
I have fond memories of a similar procession at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Georgia on All Soul’s Day, with a procession concluding with the beautiful blessing of the monks’ graves.

Dear Deacon Kandra, in the bottom picture you almost look biblical!
Great pictures.
[Heh. The photographer said I looked like an apostle. 'Yeah,' I replied. 'Stephen, about to be stoned.' Dcn. G.]
Thanks! How I miss those processions and our parish! Love the picture of Fr. Jan & the Eucharist………Thanks again for sharing.
Just think of the irony. While you were processing with the Body of Christ on Corpus Christi, the Catholic governor was parading on Fifth Avenue with those celebrating same-sex marriage. God save us.
