  • Spiritual friendship is a deep concept – one that Celtic Christians call “anam cara” and encourage ALL Christians to find. Each of us benefit from having a key person or persons who care enough about us and who we trust enough to share the details of our journey. John O’Donohue wrote a book of Celtic wisdom with that title. Ray Simpson and the Community of Aidan and Hilda in Lindisfarne (England) encourage and help people serious about such a practice develop the basic attitudes and skills to help others find “soul friendship.”
