Why did I name my new blog “Enigmatic Mirror”?
It is drawn from Paul’s observation that humans “now see through a glass, darkly” (1 Cor. 13:12, KJV). In Greek, it reads “di’ epoptpou in ainigmati,” literally “through a mirror in an enigma,” or, more idiomatically, in an “unclear reflection.” Hence, an “Enigmatic Mirror” describes the human epistemological condition.
