Some Assembly Required

I’ve previously discussed some of the theological issues connected with the recognition that the Bible did not come down from heaven as a pre-packaged collection. But they say a picture is worth a thousand words, and so here are some images to illustrate the point. Please feel free to use, share and circulate them if you are so inclined.

Yeah, I like these posters but is there a deeper, biblical scholar humour to the "alternate" spelling for required? Are you removing vowls fr a rsn? At least in chemistry when I spell things wrong I can claim that it is the British spelling.

No, it's just a typo I didn't catch. But since the Hebrew text didn't have vowels, I suppose that too is an aspect of the assembly that is required! :-)

James, this is absolutely fantastic =D. I featured one of your pics in my blog post, respoding to Mike Whitenton's "Paul and Monotheism" stuff, and linked back here.I'll have to photoshop up a more polished version for ya, these are just too awesome, hehe ;-D.
