Jesus in Space (and Mormonism in Music)

Religion Nerd has a post entitled “Jesus in Space” that tells of a look into Mormon art and music, and the fascinating discoveries the blog’s author made in the process about the interplanetary cosmology of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and its theology. In the process, you get the lyrics and a clip of a Mormon hymn, “If You Could Hie To Kolob” as well as some seriously hard rock music from The Osmonds.

I presume you’re convinced by now that you should click the link, so I would hate to delay you too much longer. But also worth mentioning here is an article in Christianity Today with the title “Christ of the Klingons” about God, string theory, multiple universes, extraterrestrial life, and Christian doctrine (HT David Opderbeck).
