Submissions for July/August Biblical Studies Carnival

Dan McClellan has put out a call for submissions for the next Biblical Studies Carnival.  I personally think that the carnival name ought to reflect the month covered by the carnival, not the fact that it is posted early in the following month. What do others think about this?

On a related note, Chris Brady has posted on why he will not be hosting the carnival in the future, leading Jim West to whine and carp about “whining carpers.”

you can call it whatever you want.  im sure someone will complain about it.  just as youve complained about my complaining about the carping and whining of gayle et al.

@facebook-644159096:disqus , why oh why must you complain about my complaints about your complaining about the complaints of others? Waaaah!  :-)

I sense that Jim is in one of his self-destructive cycles.  He’ll probably delete his blog again, any day now.

I really worry for Jim West’s state of mind.  He’s now pouting like a five-year-old:

I’ve been out of the loop for a while, and don’t blog nearly as much as I used to, and have only occasionally checked into Jim’s blog since the last deletion. But I suspect Guest is right. If you look at Jim’s history, he’s about due for another deletion. He might even repeat his promise to never blog again, and then resurrect in, what, six days?
