John Morehead interviewed me about the book I edited, Religion and Science Fiction, for his blog TheoFantastique. The interview has now been posted. Please click through and give it a read!
(no I am not Prof. James’ publicist)
1) Great interview! While not as into sci-fi as you or others, (though my favorite TV show is the original Twilight Zone) I usually do see the connections you talked about.
2) can I link this up on my little blog? Only my Mom and a couple of here friends will read it…but it would be cool if could. (you think I’m kidding about the Mom joke…I’m not)
3) Will this be a wide release book? or small press…(okay, what I’m really trying to say is: in a couple months will I be able to find this at Half Price Books?) Sorry, but I don’t buy retail…if it ain’t there…I don’t buy it. I’m am cheap.
I especially would like to see the comparison with the left behind series. Oooof! I couldn’t get past book one of that stuff – ug….I would rather read the Begats or the Census……
Anyway, cool topic, and will search far and wide (at half price books) for it!
Thanks! I don’t know any blogger who is anything but thrilled when someone links to their blog. Link away!
(Hi Chris’ mom and friends!)
If you know someone going to AAR or SBL, they will probably be able to get it significantly discounted at the conference. Also, the Kindle edition is significantly cheaper than the paperback. It may be too new to be in Half Price Books yet/soon – although if they do have a copy, I hope you find it!
Linked it, thanks again! For sure, there’s at least one person (me) who will be buying the book – hopefully, I can get at least one other sale for you!
Thanks! Another thing that is always appreciated is that you could ask your local public library to buy a copy. Then they pay for it and you get to read it!
