Hemant Mehta drew attention to angry outbursts on Twitter, from conservatives who are upset that president Obama did not mention God in his 4th of July address. These two particularly baffle me:

Why are people who do not know enough about Islam to know that its first and most central tenet is belief in one God spouting ignorant ramblings of this sort?
If you don’t understand why “atheist with Muslim tendencies” is ridiculous, even the words were not applied to a president who recently sang Amazing Grace in church, you shouldn’t be speaking about the president, or about atheism, or about Islam.
