    I get it — I don’t like the views of these people either, and I think they’ve not been truthful or helpful to the public good. But really Patheos? We’re going to call other human beings “loathsome” here in this “conversation on faith?” Argue their points, sure, but you can do that without dehumanizing or hating them.

    Count me as disturbed by the tone this blog is taking. I’m no fan of any of these people, but aren’t we supposed to be better than this? And what’s the deal with the antisemitism in the bit on Jennifer Rubin?

    Of course I agree with the sentiments here and I know that this is far from Christ-like, but I must admit that it feels CATHARTIC to read someone articulating my sentiments about these loathsome human beings in a most entertaining (and definitely irreverent) way. How about if we read it and enjoy it, and then pray for these pitiful souls? I actually remember a time when I use to like watching Sean Hannity but as soon as Obama’s name began to be mentioned, I watched him transform…….

    Has no one here has noticed that Mr. Schaeffer didn’t write the article, nor the one following about the crisis in the Roman Catholic Church? Apparently he’s taken to just posting articles from other sources and putting his blog name on it. Very disappointing.
