This must have hit a sore spot (so to speak) with a lot of us Christians! How many of us struggled with sexuality and were overcome with either guilt or guilt-induced frigidity and fear, and find ourselves decades later, still struggling with whether I am “bad” or “good” re:my sexuality. What a pity, as sexuality of all kinds is a gift from God, and meant to be expressed in a way that is beautiful, kind, loving, and respectful. If only we were taught THAT instead of the “NO! STOP! DIRTY!” message Christianity taught most of us. I’ve tried to rectify that with my own children, and encourage them to see all of their life as a beautiful gift from God to be exercised with responsibility, but without guilt. I look forward – hesitantly – to the rest of this program. I’m sure it’ll open some old wounds. Thanks.
