Tmatt’s prayer for the day

Dear Lord,

Please do not let Frank Rich of the New York Times click here and have all of his prejudices confirmed (or a high percentage of them, anyway). Amen.

(Insert appropriate penitential litany here.)

Hat tip to Kathy Shaidle, by way of Rod Dreher, naturally.

I think they’re pretty cool. I don’t think I could persuade my kids to wear them though. I’d get a pair for myself but, unfortunately, they don’t seem to sell adult sizes.

I wouldn’t pay 2 cents to read a NY Times column let alone one of Rich’s. $4.95 for one column –are they nuts.

    John:

Well, that’s you choice. You have free will.

I am a TimesSelect guy, myself. You have to read all sides to take part in the debates.

I’d be afraid the kids would be up all night trying to slice and dice each other with the Sword of the Spirit.

Holy underwear batman! Armor of God PJ’s! Funny stuff. Soooo cheesy, but yet somehow touching. I love it when low church prots start getting quasi sacramental on us… Could icons, oil, holy water, scapulars and incense be next?? Horrors!

Let’s just pray that the Post‘s Robin Givhan doesn’t get her hands on this Web site.

When I start fretting about Catholic shlock and kitsch, I remind myself that Protestants can match them item for item.

Can I get these in adult sizes for me and my wife?

Send that link to the English Football merch sites. IU can see it being popular with fans of the Enland Men’s National Football team. Any way to wear the Cross of St George….
