Expanding our blogging base from coast to coast … please welcome Will Duquette.

Will Duquette blogs at The View From the Foothills where he can look out over Los Angeles from the idyllic spot he calls home. I have long enjoyed reading his reviews and am very happy to welcome him to the Bookshelf … where he can tell us if real men do read Jane Eyre (although I believe that Jeff may also be able to discuss that topic, now that I think of it).

Will reads everything from philosophy to science fiction to James Clavell to G.K. Chesterton. His writing is incisive and opinionated so you can see why I’ve enjoyed reading his reviews and wrangling in the comments boxes. He’s got a Catholic take on it all, so he’s gonna fit in here just fine.

Welcome, Will!
