I hit the road today early

I’ll be on the road a lot this month.  This week you can meet me in St. Louis, Louis.  I will be at the Military Council of Catholic Women’s conference at the Millennium Hotel (click the link for more info).  We will be talking about 101 Reasons Not to Be Catholic, The Works of Mercy, and the Care and Feeding of the Lay Catholic Apostle.  This is a phenomenal group of women (I’ve spoken to them twice before) and they inspire me.  So I’m looking forward to this trip.  I will head home on Monday.

I put a few items in the hopper to launch while I’m out and about, but I will be pretty scarce.  See you next week!

Take it, Judy!

Just in case you can spare a few moments on Sat, come over to the Ferrara Theatre at Convention Plaza.
Marian Day of Prayer for America starts at 8:00, ends with Mass at 4:30 with Bishop Hermann, followed by Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary at 6:pm http://mariandayofprayeramerica.com/

This is the same hotel the LCWR were at. Oh, you missed the last Cards game. Maybe there’ll be play off games next week! Go across the street and see the beautiful “Old Cathedral” under the Arch. It remains an active parish and is named after our city’s patron, St. Louis. If you don’t have food at the hotel, food is hard to find. Go west a few blocks. A TGIF and some other chains. Calico’s is a good spot. There’s no food on the Arch grounds…makes for lousy tourism there. The river is VERY VERY low. Worth getting a look at. Weather’s nice.
