My Pal Jason Stellman is involved in a promising new site

It’s called Heavy for the Vintage.

He writes:

A few friends and I have started this site, Heavy for the Vintage. About half of us are Christians, I’m the only Catholic, and we are basically just writing op-ed type stuff at this point, engaging cultural issues.

Our Twitter blurb says “We think out loud, vent, muse, and use whatever gifts of artistic expression we have to describe the identity we share as misfits and malcontents in this world.”

Keep in mind we’re not a religious site, so sometimes there’ll be content that Christians won’t completely agree with. But since grace perfects nature, and since the gospel places an exclamation point after all true ideas, et cetera….

Here’s my latest piece:

Check thou it out!

"Also content warning for suicidal urges and suicide methodsI also have struggled with suicidal urges ..."

The New Lie
"Yep. When you ask them point blank what they have done, they quibble and attack ..."

Why Don’t you Talk about Theology ..."
"Tell that to Australia who did reduce guns and they don't have this problem that ..."

The NRA is taking an historic ..."
"I remember once when I was in high school, one of the kids picked up ..."
