      I don’t recall that JPII met with victims but if he had, it would have made the news big time. Benedict XVII however, did meet with victims in the United States and elsewhere and that also made the news.

        I recall they both did- but at the time the newspaper headlines were all negative about it.

          While I’m sure there were occasions when a victim met JPII, there was never a “JPII Meets With Victims of Sexual Abuse,” event. BVIX met with a group of victims when he came to the US. The fanboy press such as NCR, EWTN, and radio made a great deal about how it wasn’t a PR effort because “look, no cameras.” I love it that the vatican and the fanboy press regards catholics as being that stupid and gullible. Then again, look at the last 70 years.
