Francis to Address Congress in September

Some of my readers are fantasizing about him bringing a whip made of cords and overturning the tables of the legislators when he’s here. But, of course, that presumes that Congress is Our Father’s House, something we can all agree it has never been.

This is why there has never been a National Creche along with the National Christmas Tree. In DC, it’s impossible to find three wise men and a virgin.
