The Bishops vs. Some Guy with a Keyboard re: the Orans Prayer during the Our Father February 28, 2017

Some guy with a keyboard running some site called Catholic365.com barks this order at the faithful: The Faithful are NOT to use the Orans posture during the Our Father

Mhm. Except here are the US bishops on exactly this question:

Some people hold hands during the Lord’s Prayer, while others hold their hands out like the priest.  Is there a prescribed posture for the Our Father?

No position is prescribed in the Roman Missal for an assembly gesture during the Lord’s Prayer.

Game. Set. Match.

If you still have any questions, here is noted layperson The Blessed Virgin Mary reminding you that the Orans position is fine and you are not required to be a Liturgy Cop nor keep your eyes on your fellow parishioners and judge them for how they pray the Our Father:
