“Escape the Herd” by nakedpastor David Hayward

It is scary. It is at times lonely. But it is honest and necessary.

I’ve escaped herds many times. They’re everywhere. Anywhere there are people. There are even herds of people who refuse to be a part of a herd.

The gravitational pull is always towards a herd mentality. But even though you will be warned that you are making a big mistake, you know deep within that your escape is the most important thing you can do.

    I’ve had to do this many times and it’s hard……leaving the herd, because you can’t be heard.

  • I had a dream once. Sheep in a pen trying to get out through a narrow way, and one lamb was impatient because the older fatter ones were blocking the door (they’d gotten stuck in their rush) so the lamb wiggled and pressed and broke through and took off running happy as could be! It is one of my favorite dreams because I knew the lamb was myself!

    Good one Jeanne; well said.

  • Welcome to your new location — you are now part of a herd.
    Better money here, they say. I remembered when others did the same.
    Suggestion: Is there anyway not to have your presenting pages with just tiny pics crowded to the left. I liked your older design much better.

  • I think I can make them larger. I kind of liked the preview look because people could see that there is an attending commentary. But I’ll test it out Sabio. Thanks!

    I wonder if when he told the parable of the lost sheep Jesus was also making a point about the herd, the flock. The shepherd goes out by himself and leave the rest behind. Was the sepherd taking the clue from his lamb?

  • there’s a thought

  • This may present it in a different light;
