For those of you who read Prophet or Madman, a book I wrote that explores the myths and realities of Creation, you may recall the following from the section on time.

In Genesis 2:4, you will find your first hint of the concept of past, present, and future existing as one.

These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created. In the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens…

Gen 2:4

Notice that the generations of heavens (that is, the ones to come) were created in the day that God made the earth and the heavens. This is to help you begin to understand that, in terms of Ultimate Reality, Time as Man understands it does not exist. I will talk about this in greater detail in Part Two, but for now it is enough to say that what seems Real and what is Real are two very different things.

In essence, what I was saying was much the same as what Jesus taught when asked about the end of time in this world or when the people of the day were going to be able to experience Heaven.

From the Gospel of Thomas

His disciples said to him, “When will the repose of the dead come about, and when will the new world come?”
He said to them, “What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it.”

Are not the words that Jesus spoke two thousand years ago expressing the same understanding Einstein was attempting to teach when he referred to linear time as an optical delusion of consciousness?

The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent optical delusion of consciousness.

Albert Einstein

Looking once again to Prophet or Madman, you can find that I wrote there are many dimensions of time and space within creation. What most people are not aware of is, while there are dimensions within creation available to be explored, they are all in some ways illusory. Which is why Einstein referred to linear time as being nothing more than an optical delusion of consciousness. When you become aware of this, it becomes obvious that false beliefs are the primary obstacle that stands in the way of our ability to see REALITY. Moreover, because freewill can never be touched, anyone can choose to maintain false beliefs that cloud their vision for all of eternity.

Some years ago after having had the experience of seeing beyond the veil (the human intellectual/dualistic mind), I was left with a desire that overshadowed all my previous hopes and dreams. That desire was to help others awakened and experience REALITY.

When I say REALITY, I am talking about something that most people are asleep to but a few have talked about. One such person was Rumi, (a Muslim mystic). Rumi  once said,

“We are tasting the taste this minute of eternity. We are pain and what cures pain both. We are the sweet cold water and the jar that pours.”

In terms of absolutes, there exists only two states of experience. Those two states are awake (consciously cognizant of God) or asleep i.e. the dream state (experiencing every moment as a relative experience in terms of time).

In this world, the vast majority are so intrenched in “the dream state” that there is little or no acceptance beyond the fear based beliefs that are born out of that dualistic view.

That said, I now would like to talk a little about whether time is a friend or a foe. Shakespeare once said, “There is nothing either good or bad – but thinking makes it so”

To me, Shakespeare was absolutely correct. In and of itself, time is neither good nor bad. This can be witnessed through observation of events you may have witnessed in your life. Take for example a situation where someone happens to be a prisoner of war and someone else happens to be a guard at the same prison. Both are experiencing the same moment in time and yet, both are having quit different experiences.

So what then is time? Time is the duration or interval of experiencing thoughts/beliefs derived from and limited to a dualistic mind i.e. your ego’s view. If this sounds confusing to you, perhaps it is because you are unaccustomed to seeing Life from the Spiritual view. While many in this world believe they are going to spend eternity with God, what they do not understand is, Eternity can only be fully experienced in the Now Moment.

When Christ was teaching that man must become reborn, he was not saying, you must become a follower of a religion but rather, you must wake up! Until you have purged yourself of all false beliefs, you will never be able to awaken from the dream state that you are in and move outside of linear time. This is true because, The frequency of the Now Moment, is and must remain non linear or it would not be eternal.

That said, I would like to add that although your dreams may not be real, they can still be experienced and believed to be real. A good indicator as to whether your experiences are love or fear based is whether they are changeable.

It was once said, God is love and God is that which never changes. Another way of saying that is, God is eternally the same Unconditional Love that was, is, and will always be. Ultimately, you can be awake and aware of that or stubbornly call for more time. The choice to move into the awakened state is one that each must make for themselves. No one and nothing can make it for you.

In closing, I wish to add one last thing. I have been asked by our Father/Creator to ask you to wake up beyond that dualistic mind. Not next week, not next year, not a thousand lifetimes from now but NOW!

For those who have the ears to hear and the eyes to see, Namaste’ (the divine in me recognizes and honors the divine in you).

Regardless of your path or what religion you practice, if you wish to awaken yourself and live awakened in this world you may find yourself reinterpreting your view of reality itself!

More to come…

Love and Light,

Brother Bruce
