Having provided enough amusing information literacy song videos, my colleague Chad Bauman and I are moving into a new genre: amusing song videos about religion. The above is the first in the genre, “Mennonites, Mormons, and Moonies,” with lyrics by Chad Bauman, and performed in four-part harmony by Chad Bauman, Chad Bauman, Chad Bauman, and Chad Bauman. Its melody is familiar, and its lyrics will help you keep from getting these faith traditions confused. Enjoy!

In case you’re curious, I’ve already been working on the next one in the series, which will be about religion scholars of the 20th century.

As a life-long Mennonite I must truly say I that I greatly appreciate both the effort and the research. I’m less appreciative of having the tune stuck in my head all day. :)

Love it –especially the Goshen College gate. :-) I’m sharing since I may soon need to be explaining these differences.

This “Moonie” likes it too. :-)
