Ancient Greek OCR

I haven’t tried it out yet, but the news AWOL shared about optical character recognition software that works with ancient Greek is exciting, and so I am passing it on now. If you get to try it out before I do, please let me know how it works!

      I have yet to try it out. I also had someone ask on Facebook whether it can cope with handwritten manuscripts. I doubt it can, but that doesn’t mean that someone could not create software that can be trained with a particular scribe’s handwriting and “learn” to do just that.
