18 Common Excuses and their Affirmations by Robert Ricciardelli

18 Common Excuses and their Affirmations by Robert Ricciardelli February 19, 2012

I have adapted these from EXCUSES BEGONE BY DR. WAYNE W. DYER. I hope they become an encouraging reminder for you.

IT WILL BE DIFFICULT:

I have the ability to accomplish any task I set my mind to with ease and comfort. All things are possible with God!

IT’S GOING TO BE RISKY:

Being myself involves no risks. It is my ultimate truth, and I live it fearlessly. Risk is the seed of reward.

IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME:

I have infinite patience when it comes to fulfilling my destiny. I am on an eternal journey and rest in God and His timing.

THERE WILL BE FAMILY DRAMA:

I would rather be loathed for who I am than loved for who I am not. I am a God pleaser more than a man pleaser.

I DON’T DESERVE IT:

I am a Divine creation, a child of God. Therefore, I cannot be undeserving. I deserve the very best always.

IT’S NOT MY NATURE:

My essential nature is perfect and faultless. It is to this nature that I return. I am one with god and live in His nature.

I CAN’T AFFORD IT:

I am connected to an unlimited source of abundance. God is unlimited and therefore in Him, I am unlimited.

NO ONE WILL HELP ME:

The right circumstances and the right people are already here and will show up on time. I live in the favor of the Almighty.

IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE:

I am willing to attract all that I desire, beginning here and now. I expect good things to follow me all the days of my life.

I’M NOT STRONG ENOUGH:

I have access to unlimited assistance. My strength comes from my connection to God the Source of my being.

I’M NOT SMART ENOUGH:

I am a creation of the Divine mind; I am created with brilliance. I have the mind of Christ, the wisdom of the ages.

I’M TOO OLD (OR NOT OLD ENOUGH):

I am an infinite being. The age of my body has no bearing on what I do or who I am. I live for eternity now.

THE RULES WON’T LET ME:

I live my life according to the Divine rules and plans of God. His plans for me prevail.

IT’S TOO BIG:

I think only about what I can do now. By thinking small, I accomplish great things. Faithful in small, faithful in big!

I DON’T HAVE THE ENERGY:

I feel passionately about my life, and this passion fills me with excitement and energy. God strengthens me each day.

IT’S MY PERSONAL FAMILY HISTORY:

I live in the present moment by being grateful for all of my life experiences as a child. I learn from them, not bound by them.

I’M TOO BUSY:

As I unclutter my life, I free myself to answer the callings of my soul, the desires God has put within me.

I’M TOO SCARED:

I can accomplish anything I put my mind to, because I know that I am never alone. I live in faith and not fear.
