This morning I had the great pleasure of speaking with E. Kent Rogers, author of the new book 12 Miracles of Spiritual Growth: A Path of Healing from the Gospels, from his home in Nepal where he runs an orphanage with his wife, Shovha. In the book, Kent explores twelve of Jesus’ miracles, or healings, and what they can offer us in terms of our own inner healing from the problems we face in our lives today.
In our skype interview, below, Kent shared about the inspiration behind his book, who he hopes reads it, his favorite of Jesus’s miracles, and his work in Nepal. A wonderful surprise occurs at the end of our interview when he invites all of his kids to come downstairs and say hello. It’s a beautiful moment — and a beautiful story — from Nepal.
