Buster sick at school

Guys, my poor son Buster (I’ve written before about the delicate constitution of my strapping 6 foot-230lb’er) is very sick at school. He sounds awful. He went to the health center, and they didn’t say flu, but maybe bronchitis and they sent him away with antibiotics. Basically the doctor looked at his file, said “oh, you were here about the same time last year with the same symptoms, so we’ll treat it the same way.”

Boy, that’s reassuring.

He really sounds awful and I cannot bear one of my kids being sick and so far away from home. If you would be so kind to pray for him, I would appreciate it!

Sorry to hear about Buster. Prayers for him.

At least they didn’t give him a pregnancy test!

The standard treatment at my college health clinic was a pregnancy test and Claritin. All ailments required Claritin. And if you protested that pregnancy was not possible, it was met with deaf ears.

I will be a chronic bronchitis sufferer praying for Buster out of my own need. May we both receive a speedy healing.

I know how hard it is to have a sick child (no matter their age) far from home…prayers for the doctors giving him the right treatment, his speedy recovery and your peace knowing that he rests in the hands of the Almighty.

I kind of feel for you Anchoress and with tears in my eyes, I could go on and on but I’ll simply thank God for having given us such kind and wonderful children.

For what “IT” is worth, I’ll get on my knees and say a prayer for all of U>S all right now.

Prayers are going up for Buster and for his mom. God is with him when you can’t be. Speedy recovery to him. I haven’t had my annual fight with bronchitis yet, please God, I’ll skip it this year.

Sorry to hear you son is sick. Prayers are going up for his speedy recovery. I hear vitamin D drops, echinacea and vitamin C are supposed to help.

Prayers for Buster’s speedy recovery and for his Mom! It’s a bummer when your child (no matter how old they get) is sick and away at school.

I hope it’s not bronchitis and that it’s something less worrying that will heal quickly.

Prayers for Buster and for his loving, but worried parents.

  • Mutnodjmet

Praying for his speedy recovery and your peace-of-spirit. I find myself worried about the health of my son so much now, based on the flu reports, that I take his temperature a couple of times a day!

    Dear Anchoress,

Find a local health food store and get a product called Clear Lungs. You want the one with the red label, no ephedra. Another good place to purchase it from with fast shipping options is iherb.com.

Follow the directions. A good product that helps ease coughing and clears unwanted phlegm from the lungs.

    Hope this helps!

Enjoy your blog greatly, hope your son feels better.

P.S. No need to post this if you do not feel it is relevant.

    I lied Anchoress!

“IT” was not real tears flowing in my eyes but they were a little wet.

sinner vic corrected me while me, myself and I were praying. He said real tears came from our dad when we placed him in a senior’s home and after about a week, he cried like a baby and we brought him home to die.

He really did enjoy that a lot more although “IT” wasn’t always easy on some days but I’m sure that we would all agree that the happiness in his eyes were well worth every happy moments.

I guess sinner vic is right! In reality men should never cry in public if they can help “IT” unless they are truly looking for Pity from God’s Family?

    God Bless,

Prayed and praying. He’ll be OK. No worries, A!

In my day, they called the campus health center the Quack Shack. Sounds like some things don’t change.

    Prayers are on the way.
