How does the site look?

I have never been able to “see” the configuration problems that some have recently complained about while using IE. Please let me know how it is, now?

Much better! Looks all back to normal.

Yesterday, the left and middle column were bleeding into each other till roughly 1 or 2 page scrolls downward… then it cleared up… but it’s seems to be fine now…

  • Cheryl McAdams

It’s back to normal. I thought you were trying out a new layout format. :)

  • Frank

Much better! I couldn’t read it for the past couple of days.

Merry Christmas, Elizabeth, and thank you for all your good work. My life really is enriched by site.

It’s all better, whatever you did worked.

I hated to complain because I felt like I was being ungrateful for the free ice cream. ;-)

Thank you for sharing your work with us.

So I don’t want to gripe but will feedback provide since you asked.

The site takes absolutely forever to load in Safari 5, but loads quickly and accurately in both Firefox and Camino. (I don’t use IE ever so….)

That said, your site is daily must read, so I happily launch another browser to get around Safari’s suckitude. :-)

Good for me too now. I had a problem with the site on my computer.

  • AnnF

Better. The only problem for me in IE was that all the text was centered. However, now all the links to your recent posts are almost the exact same color of gray as the background in that column. The bullets are black, but the words are gray.

For business reasons, we have both OSX/Firefox, and XP/IE on our iMac. I checked your site on both configurations, and it works pretty well with both. As with everything else, it just looks prettier on the Mac setup. On XP, it looks “squished” and the bullets on the sidebar are unreadable.
Kudos to you and your great site! Keep up the good work!

    Thank goodness, back to normal!

  • Shev

Seems fixed on my browser (ie 8.0 on Windows 7).

  • Mandy

Bingo, you fixed it! Merry Christmas.

  • Steve Colby

No problem reading the blog. However, the errors I noted in my previous comment are still there (Cufon and all the rest)

In the “Recent Posts” links column you have dark gray text on medium gray background.
Virtually impossible to read the links. They work just fine, but it is sort of a “Secret Santa” experience – a surprise with every click.

It’s back to functioning properly, thank goodness. I use IE.

  • Andrew

I have always visited your site using Google Chrome and it’s looked great. Thanks for fixing the IE problems though, much appreciated!

Looks good now! Rick’s description is most apt. I am just very relieved that the problem is solved. Merry Christmas and God Bless you for providing this peaceful and stimulating site. We are so blessed that you choose to share yourself with us.
