I just got it. I look forward to reading it. Maybe I’ll do review on my blog.

I’ve got a pre-release review copy, and it’s been the most fun I’ve had reading in the last six months. Good job, good backstory, good insight. This book, along with your Nick& Josh podcast, made my February. Now, March will probably suck. Oh well.

Started the book last night. Great job! I really enjoy it, and after only a few chapters, I’m already frustrated as hell with some of your theories!

I’ve got a small group of guys that I’ve done studies with in the past – we’re gonna go through your book. It should be really interesting! Thanks again!

Received one in the mail earlier this week.
I can’t wait to dive in!

    Well done TJ.

Please promise me you won’y say “I told you so” to the throng of young rightvangelical preachers who will repent and begin to write multiple sermon sets based on your book. A wash of new interpretation will fill the very churches spoken of in the book. They will claim that they caught some inspiration while fishing, but we all will know the truth.

Chapter one is great… no it’s excellent.

just wonderful. i just sat down and read the whole thing. it encouraged my soul. so many things that we talk about all the time, well articulated, flowing together in a very undeniable way. well done. you’ve got skills.

I am just wondering why you call Mary a blessed virgin, and why you didn’t share the Gospel with that pregnant lady next to you on the flight….

I get stuck on stuff like that, despite your fine writing style and great story telling ability and insights into emergent

Well… Mary was a virgin… Mary was blessed by the birth of Jesus, so blessed virgin just kind of makes sense (imo).

Don’t know how I’m going to get my hands on the rest of the book at this stage without having to fork out gagillions in postage to Amazon, but after reading this I’m starting to think that I might just have to do that. Thanks for making this available Tony!

Sorry – just realised that I didn’t mention that I won’t be able to get the book because I live in Australia! The comment doesn’t really make much sense otherwise :P
