Original Sin: Halftime

The Original Sin Series

I’ll take a break on substantive posts on this topic over the weekend, and launch back in by tackling Romans on Monday.  (It is interesting how many commenters on the last post were unwilling to deal with Genesis on its own merits but instead jumped straight to Paul. Also interesting how many already assume how I’ll deal with Paul when, in all honesty, I don’t know how I’ll deal with Paul.)

I’ll have a post on Paul up on Monday morning, just in time for me to go on Todd Friel’s Wretched Radio program.  That should be a laugh riot.

In the meantime, let me direct you to Scot McKnight’s lengthy interaction with Alan Jacobs’s cultural history of Original Sin.  That should make for some good weekend reading.

What is the Biblical basis for declaring a “half-time”? There you go again, following human philosophy rather than the Word! Just like you emergent types.

Larry, let’s see, could it be called a “sabbath”?

    David the Pharisee, sheesh. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Tony, why bother engaging radio shows with hosts that are going to do their best to make a fool of you?

There is no debate. Original sin is so clearly taught in the bible. Man is totally depraved at birth. If anyone denies that they might as well toss there bible and go do something else. But don’t sit in a church or whatever you call it and tell people that heretical lie.
What in the world is going on? Would the true church start standing up and confronting error and lies and false teaching!!
