    I think not, sir…
The only guarantee of peace is being under the blood of His cross (Col. 1:19-20).

  • Bo

Ah yes Jason the problem is all those people who are “under the blood of His cross” and yet are still so unfriendly. The Church has certainly been quite unfriendly throughout history and quite possibly still is in places… Whence peace if not from friendship?

  • Tony Arens

Hurt promotes hatred, hatred hardens the heart. Friendship is not possible unless a hardened heart heals. Buddha cute little one liner is not possible unless there’s real transformation that can only happen in Christ Jesus. As postmodernism continues to redefine and reinvent Jesus, we dulute the one and only real cure for the disease called hatred. Sure, you might treat a symptom, but the heart will remain battered.

What should we be learning from Buddhism?

  • Come on, this quote doesn’t some up all that Buddha stood for anymore that John 3:16 sums up Jesus absolutely. Let’s just appreciate a good, challenging quote.
    Thanks Tony.
